Designers Challege Day 2

Hello my crafty friends! It is day 2 of the Karen Burniston Designers Challenge. We were asked by Karen to make a simple, easy to replicate card if we did two cards for the challenge. Here is my "simple" card.

For this card, I used the Katie Label Pivot card die. The snow flakes are accessory dies from the Spiral Circle Pull card and the All Seasons Tree.

What is great about this simple card is that you are not limited to a specific religion for this card. I have also made the same card for a Hanukkah as well.

Karen Burniston July Designer challenge

Hello my crafty friends! It is time for a new Designer Challenge. This month the theme is Christmas In July. For my first card of the challenge, I used the Holiday House decorator die as well as a few others.

Here is a look at the front of the card.

Here us have used acetate to expose the inside of the card. You can see the House  and sme snowy hills made with the new Outdoor Edges die.

Here is a look inside....

Here you can see that I used the House Pivot card die. Instead of the house portion, I made a double fence. Inside the fence is a tree using the new Evergreen Pivot card die. The evergreen tree was cut using some honey pop paper.

Make sure that you check out the cards made by the other designers for this fun challenge.

It's challenge time!

Hello my crafty peeps! Well, my term on the Spectrum Noir DT is over. I loved being a part of the team and wish them well.
As one door closes, another one opens. And with that said, I am so excited to announce that I am now on the Simply Betty Stamps design team. SQUEAL!
Here is my very first project using Christian.  He has been colored up with my Copic markers.

The challenge for this month is to use lace on your project. Super challenging to me on a male image.

Be sure to check out the projects of the other design team members here

Thanks for stopping by.

Hoppy Birthday!

Happy Fourth everyone! Recently I shared a card using the new Lorna Label Pop It Ups die (available mid-July). Well, what happens when you make a double Lorna Label cut?? Perfect floating floor with no work involved!

Here I have doubled the Lorna Label. To do this, instead of opening the card flat and placing the die in the crease, you leave the card closed, this way it cuts both panels at one time. Once it was cut, I opened the card flat and used the slot dies from the Lucy Label Pop It Up to make the slots. Easy peasy lemon squeezy! The balloon are on strips of project cover from my local office supply store. The balloons are an accessory die included in the new Spiral Circle Pull Card die (available mid-July). Finally, there is Hoppy also available mid-July.

Make sure you contact your local scrapbook store so that they can pre-order your set today!
